Reunion Long Overdue

One year removed from parting ways with the Dallas Cowboys, running back Ezekiel Elliott has agreed to terms on a new deal that will bring the former fourth-overall pick back to the Metroplex.

The Cowboys' lack of an NFL draft investment in a running back greatly increased the likelihood of a reunion with former star Ezekiel Elliott. Elliott was selected by the Dallas Cowboys fourth overall in the 2016 NFL draft. In eight seasons in the NFL, he was a three-time Pro Bowl and two-time All-Pro selection and led the league in rushing yards twice.

The Dallas Cowboys are officially bringing Ezekiel Elliott back. The wheels were in motion late last week for Zeke's return to the Cowboys, who reflected that by not drafting a running back.
