Fatal Crash on Highway 401 Claims One Life

According to latest reports, a 24-year-old London resident has tragically lost their life in a fatal crash on Highway 401 early Friday morning.

The incident occurred on Highway 401 eastbound of London, causing the closure of a portion of the highway. Emergency services, including Oxford and Middlesex County OPP, EMS Fire Crews, and Ornge Air Ambulance, responded to the scene.
Sadly, the sole occupant of one of the involved vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. Two individuals from the other vehicle were transported to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash. The road closure has since been lifted, but motorists are advised to exercise caution in the area.
